If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times …. there’s no such thing as a standard wedding invitation any longer because there’s no such thing as a standard wedding.
Thirty years ago everyone got married at their local church or register office. Now it’s not so simple , and if you’re planning to get married abroad then you will need to provide your guests with more than a date, time and location on your wedding invitations.
Initially at the Stylish Group we produced information cards that sat inside the main invitation, but that was never an ideal solution … what if the card got lost or thrown away with the envelope?
Or invitation ‘wallets’ that contained a card for each piece of information. They look attractive enough, but from a practical aspect I would advise against them. The more loose pieces of card you enclose the chances increase that people will misplace them (I speak from experience … I can lose something just by looking at it!)
Wedding invitation booklets are now becoming increasingly popular …

Typically these will be A5 in size (14.85cms x 21cms when folded), the first page containing the all important invitation. You might want to think about personalising this by having your guest’s names printed …

Following the invitation page, you can add up to seven printed pages detailing flight information, accommodation details, tour operators, local activities … You name it.

The beauty of option for this type of invitation is simple … it saves your guests contacting you for the information. And if you don’t offer it upfront, contact you they will!
